Tranquillity | Ajsal E A

Silence
Broken in the clamor
Of memory drops
In the twilight
When the timid stars
Shimmered
Behind the palette
Of dark clouds
You sailed away
Burning the hawser
And I stood
As an old anchor
With no howls
The sea went mute
And it roared
In shattered shells
In midnight
No one slept
And absence grew
With no borders
From shores
To the pavements of
Inner gullies
No one listened
But I
There’s a sound
The sound of
Drops of memory
